There are 14 guest coaches in Palace on Wheels train (saloons), the furniture, the furnishing, uniforms of servants, two restaurant-cum-kitchen cars, bar-cum-lounge, four service cars, a spacious and well-decked lounge, royal spa, wellness center and gym, anda library reflect the spirit of royal Rajasthan.The names of the saloons are based on the princely states of Rajasthan – Alwar, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Bundi, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jhalawar, Jodhpur, Kishangarh, Kota, Sirohi, and Udaipur.

Each saloon has four coupes with attached toilet, internet connectivity, television, one saloon captain valet and mini pantry equipped to have snack and tea/coffee. Every saloon expresses the cultural ethos of a state through its paintings, sculptures, furnishing, handicrafts and furniture. All saloons are interconnected and interiors are furnished with a royal touch.

Dining is also one of the best experiences throughout the journey.
