This is one of the oldest national parks in the country; established in 1936 with the aim to prevent the extinction of one of the most beautiful creations of the nature, the Bengal Tigers, the park is one of the most favorite hotspots among the tourists to spot the wild animals roam around freely in their natural habitat. The park is the perfect embodiment of beautiful natural landscape and wilderness. The safari ride takes you deep into the heart of the park, just keep your eyes open and you may spot the royal Bengal tiger greeting you with its majestic and wild charm.

Kaziranga National Park

This national park has the distinction of being the only sanctuary in India to house the famed and the endangered one-horned Rhinos in India. Located in Assam, it is one of largest national parks in the Northeast India and is one of the most visited national parks in India. The unique thing about this park is that you can watch the magnificent beast roaming around freely while riding on an elephant. Apart from Rhinos, the park also houses Tigers, Wild Buffaloes and Swamp Deer.

Gir National Park

What better view it can be than to watch the king of the Jungles, Lion leading its pride and their antics as they lay around lazily and indulge in playful activities with their young ones. This is exactly what you get to see at the Gir National Park, which is home to largest number of Asiatic lions. The best time to visit the place is between October and June as you can watch these majestic beasts going for a leisurely strolls out in the wild.
